Applying for the Artist Marketplace

Produced by The Bear on the Square Mountain Festival, Inc. Located on the Historic Public Square of Dahlonega, Georgia. April 26-27, 2025. Saturday 10AM-6PM, Sunday 10AM-5PM.

Bear on the Square Mountain Festival is an authentic Mountain Festival featuring bluegrass and old-time music, traditional art and craft, folk art, dance, and storytelling. The festival is held on the Historic Public Square of Dahlonega, Georgia. This nonprofit organization’s mission is to preserve and support the artistic and cultural traditions of the Georgia Mountains and the Southern Appalachian Region.

FEES: The application fee is $15. The booth fee is $175 for a 10’x10′ space and $350 for a 10’x20′ space. We cannot offer electrical hookup. Loud equipment, amplification/speakers or generators are prohibited. If accepted, you will have two weeks to mail your booth fee or pay by Paypal. ONLY SEND THE $15 APPLICATION FEE OR PAY $15 BY PAYPAL WITH YOUR APPLICATION. If accepted, you will have two weeks to mail your booth fee or pay by Paypal on our website.

ARTIST REQUIREMENTS:
Items must be handmade by the artist who is selling the work. Kits or commercially manufactured items are prohibited. Commercially produced products printed with artwork such as t-shirts, coffee mugs, etc. are not allowed. If you have questions regarding art prints, please email us for policy details. Only work presented for the application/jury process may be sold, and all items must be submitted at the time of the application. Exhibitors are selected by our jury based on design, quality and presentation of work. Quality of craftsmanship, educational element, and compatibility with the mission of the festival will be given the most weight.
