This red painting is special to Billy as it represents a “pretty new dress.” Billy has five sisters; all strong women, he says. His mother would sew based on patterns in her head. And whenever she made a new dress, the family would celebrate. Pretty new dresses have a special place in Billy’s heart and he hopes this painting will be special to the owner as well.
