Friday Night Auction

Live And Silent Country Auctions
Friday, April 20, 2018 - MainStage Tent 5 pm - Silent and live auction items can be viewed and food and drink will be served. Silent auction ends at 7 pm. 7pm - The live auction begins.

The Live and Silent Country Auctions are held in the MainStage Tent on Friday night prior to the Bear Festival's weekend festivities.

The primary fundraiser for the annual festival, this is one of the Dahlonega area's most anticipated occasions, as enthusiastic participants crowd into the MainStage Tent to enter bids on auction items, which have included the work of North Georgia folk artist Billy Roper, work from other local and juried artists taking part in the Bear Festival's Artists Marketplace, and items contributed by businesses, organizations and artists and other individuals from this area.

As the festival dates approach, our auction items will be available to preview.

The live auction is run by a professional auctioneer, and the evening event also features catered food from Shenanigans Restaurant & Irish Pub and Bourbon Street Grille, wine and other beverages, and live music.

Admission is $5 and covers the cost of a bidding paddle, dinner and wine.

Admission is free for volunteers and festival artists with name badges, and auction donors and festival sponsors with tickets.
