Award-winning fiddler John Grimm is the go-to man for fiddle tunes, whether you’re looking for traditional American, Appalachian, or Irish.

Join us as John demonstrates many styles of traditional fiddling and shares favorite tunes he has collected during his years of fiddling.

John is totally immersed in old-time music and provides a direct link to the roots of old-time fiddling -- having met the legendary Tommy Jarrell, who learned his fiddling from Civil War veterans. John studied under nationally renowned fiddler Bruce Molsky, who was a protégé of Tommy Jarrell.

A touring professional, John has recently performed in India, Ireland and England.  He has played and recorded with many old-time bands, including The Georgia Mudcats, and also teaches advanced fiddle at Dahlonega’s Pick & Bow Traditional Music School.
