What a wonderful weekend! The Festival opened Friday with the Live Country Auction. Then, bluegrass jams, oldtime fiddle jams, workshops, and this year's free Mainstage concerts opened on Saturday.

After a cold start on Saturday, we had perfect weather and the Marketplace handmade crafts were marvelous. The John C. Campbell Folk School's craft demonstrations and Morris dancers enthralled big crowds. The Sunday Gospel jam packed the tent as it does each year, and the day ended with the Neel Pender Project Band. On the Square we sang, fiddled and picked ten hours each day. Y’all come back next year for more of the same.
